Picture Jasper
An opaque gemstone, often displaying vistas, pictures and patterns. Most commonly yellow to brown in color. One of the more beautiful varieties is “Landscape”.

Healing Properties: Eye problems.
Scientific Properties: Composed of Silicon Dioxide. Picture Jasper is often sandstone, the coloring coming from Iron Oxides that have migrated through the sandstone in interesting shapes and forms. A famous locale known for providing some of the most beautiful Picture Jasper can be found in Biggs, Oregon. Rarely blue, then called "Biggs Blue".
